POSITION:
Administrative Account Handler

At Avocado, we operate within a close-knit team. As a small but profitable creative company with a flat management structure, responsibility for the running of the business is shared across the team. We expect our employees to take ownership of their tasks and help to manage the company as efficiently as possible, with all members of the team getting involved with clients and ensuring that our creative solutions are delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budgets. In order to achieve this, our day-to-day running of the office is pivotal; we need someone who is organised, responsible and well-rounded.

This is a new role that has become available due to the efficiency of the company and the development of in-house software that has streamlined our production process. The role merges elements of two roles we previously had within the company.

The right candidate would be someone who thrives under the pressure of deadlines, is organised and can ensure that processes are followed. They must be able to juggle a challenging schedule and prioritise tasks from the upkeep of daily company accounts, to dealing with client requests.

This is a varied role which incorporates high levels of interaction with our clients. We seek a confident individual who can communicate effectively with clients from marketing assistants to directors at board level.

Your role will include the management of internal accounts (Sage Line 50), organisation of and participation in meetings; taking client briefs and meeting minutes; the project management of jobs throughout the creative process, and the administration of these jobs through to billing.

You must have at least two years’ administrative or basic project management experience, an understanding of the Sage accounting package, and a familiarity with the processes which surround billing clients and remitting suppliers.

If you are a well-rounded individual with the taste for a challenge, and the rewards that come with it, we’d like to hear from you. Please email chris@avocado-design.com with your CV and covering letter.

Don’t be shy... We’re waiting.
